The Park

Located in Newton's southwest corner and accessible from two different entrances: 525 Winchester St. and 455 Nahanton Street, Nahanton Park's current configuration dates from 1981 and supports some 55 acres of unique habitat that includes a varied environment of meadow, woods, wetlands, a pond, a large soccer field, and a beautiful woodland path for the disabled that borders the Charles River.

Nahanton Park features:

  • • Walking and Jogging Trails
  • • Florrie's Path (a wheelchair accessible path to the Charles)
  • • Canoeing/Boating Dock
  • • Fishing
  • • A Soccer Field
  • • Community Gardens
